Teaching Philosophy:
What, why and how are the three very basic but very important questions I always try to address in my class.
· What are we going to learn/talk about?
· Why is that important to us?
· How can we apply that in our lives?
I believe that if you are curious to get answers for these basic questions then you are ready to learn Math. I also believe that there are no so-called genius and dumb students. It depends on the time you spend and the approach you use to learn it. Learning math is like doing workout in the fitness center. If you work hard; properly and regularly, then you would get the good shape. Similarly, if you practice math on the regular basis then you would be sharp and smart on it, but make sure to do it on the regular basis instead of doing for several hours once in a while. I strongly believe that learning is a journey of life, which never stops. My role, as teacher, is to guide students and try to show them a right and efficient way to achieve goals of their learning journey. To tell them where they might encounter hurdles. I help my student to walk on these unknown hurdles. For that, I involve my students in different kinds of task, such as group discussion in/outside the class room, homework, quiz, project work, exams and etc. Which make them confident to achieve their goals. Though, I am there with the students, but they need to finish their journey by themselves.
